The popular Horizon Bandido series introduces a new 66 model to the ocean explorers in 2009. The intriguing combination of trawler- and luxury yacht style of the new Bandido 66 generates a whole new concept for potential owners to fulfill their dreams in terms of safety, comfort and fuel efficiency while enjoying long-range voyages. The ample interior volume creates a spacious and comfort accommodation area that is comparable to the same size vessel.

General Information

Another new release model from the Horizon Group is on its way to Australia to make its debut at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. The Bandido 66 is a long range ‘Expedition’ style cruiser with a ship like ‘Bulbous’ bow. The Horizon ‘Bandido’ series now ranges from the 66ft through to 148ft.

One could easily think this 66 is in fact an 80+ footer given its huge proportions. No doubt its volume is greater than the average 80 ft motor yacht. With its extremely deep hull, wide 20ft beam and LOA of nearly 70ft and all up weight around 80 tons its like a small ship ready to sail the World.

The Bandido has all the usual features you come to expect from a purpose built Expedition cruiser like ruggedness, brilliant sea keeping qualities, and fuel efficiency from its twin Man 560HP Diesels etc. But without a doubt what really surprises is the amazing luxury and high class modern interior that is up with the World’s Best Mega Yachts. There is no doubt this is the Rolls Royce of long range cruisers, its 1^st class luxury with an ever practical purpose built design.

Using top grade granite, marble, leather, fabrics and high gloss Walnut timbers combined with LED lighting effects the designers have created a palace style interior. Highly polished stainless steel work and the mirror finish Sunstone Red Metallic catches your attention on the outside.

This boat is loaded with the latest in electronics as well featuring the German Bonning touch screen switching and monitoring systems, 6 function electric helm seats, Bose Sound systems, comprehensive Raymarine Touch Screens, Trac Digital Stabilizers, the list goes on.
