The ever most popular 73 has had a facelift.
The Horizon Elegance 73 is not only one of the most striking in the range, but also our most popular model. Now with the new shape skylounge with more rake, it’s even more stunning.
 
The first of this new update version is on its way for the 2010 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.
Along with the update exterior Horizon have given the interior a new modern look. More square shaped furniture and timber finishers, square hardware, and custom LED lighting.
It’s debateable if this large Cruiser can be classified as a Super Yacht but it certainly has all the features found in Super Yachts. There is no going without….
 
For Comfort
Everyone of the 4 bedrooms has its own ensuite, there are 3 spacious dining areas, huge modern well appointed galley with Miele appliances, 5 refrigeration units, 8 Chilled Water Air Con units, Luxurious Lounge with a Bose/Foxtell Theatre System, Wine Cooler, Dish washer, Clothes Washer and Dryer, Enclosed Skylounge, Outdoor BBQ area, Spacious undercover Cockpit and a huge swim platform.
 
Even the crew area is spacious and luxurious incl. twin beds, ensuite, galley bench/work area and a large walk in wet sports storage area. Every cabin has a PABX direct dial phone; there is even a fax and data Next G System to keep you in touch on extended voyages.
 
Underway
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Diesels with 1550hp each this 50+ ton Motor Yacht can reach speeds of 27knots and cruise anywhere from 8 knots thru to 20+ Knots. The Zero Speed Trac Stabilizers keep the boat level at sea or when at rest in choppy waters. Twin Onan Gen sets and a large Inverter offer silent or near silent power as required.
 
Even for a Motor Yacht this size the High Powered Hydraulic Bow and Stern Thrusters make mooring easy. Visibility problems are solved by the two extra helm stations, 1 mounted in the aft deck and walk around ‘Yacht Controller Wireless Remote’.
 
You just have to look in the engine room of the 73 to see the super yacht engineering that is World Class quality. This inspires the confidence to cruise this boat wherever you want to go.
